The Ghostling Nest of the Assembler, a massive, tube-like web, floated aimlessly in the vast expanse of space. This structure was the creation of Assembler Kud'ar Mub'at, who resided within its confines alongside his subnodes. During the period known as the Bounty Hunter Wars, the Ghostling Nest met its end at the hands of Boba Fett and Prince Xizor. By the time the Battle of Endor occurred, Boba Fett, along with Dengar, had managed to reconstruct a portion of the web, and the Ghostling Nest saw occasional use by Balancesheet afterward.
