Quinlan Vos, a Jedi Knight, and his Twi'lek Padawan, Aayla Secura, were both administered glitteryll as part of a plot orchestrated by Pol Secura and Asanté Vos. This scheme was directed by Senator Chom Frey Kaa, who held the position of authority over the drug's manufacturing.
Following the demise of Pol Secura and the apprehension of Chom Frey Kaa, it was assumed that glitteryll's manufacture had ceased, primarily because Jedi Vos had eliminated all identified spice spiders with the capacity to generate it.
