A glor-ag is a specific kind of being. Following the princess's unauthorized venture into a forest for shipspotting instead of preparing for an event, Breha Organa, the Queen of the planet Alderaan, drew a comparison between raising her daughter Leia Organa and raising a glor-ag in 9 BBY.
Within the present Star Wars canon, the initial reference to glor-ags occurred in the first episode of the Obi-Wan Kenobi television show, which was broadcast on May 27, 2022. These creatures initially appeared within the Star Wars Legends continuity. There, they were referred to as glor'ags in an article from the "Wanted by Cracken" series. This series was penned by Craig Robert Carey and featured in Star Wars Adventure Journal 10 during May of 1996.
