Gobindi, situated in the Noonian sector of the Outer Rim, was a planet that housed an Imperial bioweapons facility. After Zak Arranda, a Human, became ill with a stomach virus, he and his sister Tash Arranda journeyed to this planet in search of medical assistance. Zak received treatment at the local hospital. Meanwhile, Tash and her droid companion, DV-9, while taking a stroll, stumbled upon a blob. Initially, they were oblivious to its aggressive nature, but it soon attacked, nearly destroying the droid. This marked their initial encounter with the blob, a creation of Borborygmus Gog's Project Starscream.
