During 4 ABY, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Weebacca, accompanied by Wookiee soldiers and laborers, reoccupied the location, reconstructing the Government Tree with the intention of informing the New Republic about the state of affairs on Kashyyyk. Regrettably, this endeavor was thwarted by the Imperial Remnant's placement of three adjacent jamming stations. Solo and the Wookiee army swiftly dismantled these jammers, enabling the transmission of their message.
The Kepitenochan Government Tree was featured in a mission within the 2001 Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds video game and its 2002 Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns expansion pack. Within the multiplayer mode, players have the ability to construct monuments, including the Government Tree; successfully defending it for 200 in-game "days" results in victory for the scenario.
