The Government District, situated within Coronet City, the capital city of Corellia, housed the majority of Coronet's governmental buildings. In addition to these structures, the district also contained the Port Pevaria spaceport, the Drall Library, and a number of museums. Intense combat between the forces of the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire occurred in the Government District during the battle to seize Corellia during the Galactic War. By the era of the Galactic Civil War, it was being referred to as the Governmental Sector.
