The Galactic Alliance governor of Caluula, a female, held the position of Governor of Caluula as the Yuuzhan Vong War drew to a close. Following the Battle of Caluula in 29 ABY, she brokered an agreement with the Yuuzhan Vong: in return for their pledge to abstain from the use of surge-coral and to permit scientists on Caluula to observe the Nocturne of the Winged-Stars, they would be granted the right to occupy Caluula. This choice turned the population against her, and she withdrew into her fortified headquarters. The truth, however, was that she had consented to the non-violent occupation to establish a location for experimentation with the Alpha Red virus.
