Grake was a female belonging to the insectoid Veubg race. During the Empire Reborn uprising, specifically in 14 ABY, she was enslaved at Hethrir's personal Worldcraft. Grake's job was that of a cook in Hethrir's kitchen, where she made meals for the imprisoned children.
On one occasion, Grake became furious at the bad behavior of the Proctors who were stationed at the Worldcraft. They had complained about finding sand in their meals. Grake responded by striking several Proctors on their heads with her spatula. She then threw fruit to the younger, lower-ranking captive children who were suffering from hunger. She avoided being killed because she immediately resumed her kitchen duties. Afterward, when New Republic Chief of State Leia Organa Solo came to the Worldcraft to rescue her own children and free the other captive children, Leia liberated Grake from her enslaved status.
