Collaborating with Lord Regent Zelor, the Imperials compensated a group to assault the royal family, including King Lorac and Queen Denira, but excluding Prince Anod, who secretly supported the Empire.
Despite this, Crown Prince Denid along with his fiancée, Loren, managed to flee to the planet Tantajoc V. They were aided by their Velmor servant, Jedidiah. According to Velmorian legal code, a period of two decades needed to elapse before Denid could be legally pronounced dead, paving the way for Anod's coronation. This critical juncture arrived in 3 ABY. However, two individuals from beyond Velmor, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, journeyed to the planet accompanied by the missing Crown Prince. Their intervention ensured Denid's rightful reinstatement to the throne.
