Gritz, a Kadas'sa'Nikto of the male persuasion, had ambitions of becoming a member of the [Salvage-1]'s team, which was captained by the droid known as Spikewheel. Prior to permitting Gritz, in addition to a collection of new members comprised of Brennar, Riki, and Seles, to come aboard the crew, Captain Spikewheel abandoned them on the waste planet of Lotho Minor, making them endure a single night as a form of evaluation. Maul ended his life on Lotho Minor.
