Gwori Revolutionary Industries, a company that built starships, operated during the Clone Wars era, a time when the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems were at war. This company, along with Hoersch-Kessel Drive Inc., was involved in the construction of the Munificent-class star frigate, a vessel used by the naval forces of the Confederacy during that conflict.
The first mention of Gwori Revolutionary Industries in current Star Wars canon was in the 2018 reference book titled Star Wars: Complete Vehicles. Within the Star Wars Legends storyline, Gwori Revolutionary Industries initially appeared in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections, a reference book from 2005 written by Curtis Saxton. Later, it was featured in The Clone Wars: Shipyards of Doom, the initial episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars graphic novellas series, penned by Henry Gilroy, with illustrations by the Fillbach Brothers, and released by Dark Horse Comics on September 24, 2008.
