The H'drachi represented a species of sentient, humanoid beings, possessing sapience, who were native to the planet M'haeli within the Expansion Region. Exhibiting a resemblance to cameloids, the H'drachi maintained a strong connection to the Force, with a significant portion of the species demonstrating Force-sensitive abilities.
These diminutive, fur-covered cameloids, known as the H'drachi, were mammals characterized by short, brown fur covering their bodies, along with slender arms and legs. Typically shorter than the average Human, the H'drachi exhibited a heightened predisposition for Force-sensitivity compared to most other species.

As the indigenous inhabitants of M'haeli, the H'drachi found themselves in a subservient position to Human colonists, who had seized control and governed the planet. Despite this subjugation, the H'drachi found solace in their capacity to perceive the future through an energy field they referred to as the time-stream. This Force-perception of time was interpreted as a form of precognition by external Force-based organizations. However, given the prevalence of Force-sensitivity among the H'drachi, their society cultivated its own distinct traditions, diverging from those of offworlders. The H'Drachi Seers were a group of highly attuned H'drachi who could manipulate the time-stream to see the future with extreme precision. The more H'drachi attempting to read the time-stream at once, the clearer the visions were. Some H'drachi took to wearing large turbans on their heads and dressing in colorful tunics.
Sharing their homeworld with Human colonists, the H'drachi did not have dominion over their planet and, consequently, exerted no influence on its role in galactic affairs. M'haeli, colonized during the Great Manifest Period, remained detached from the numerous galactic conflicts that engulfed the galaxy over the centuries, remaining under the authority of the Galactic Republic since its incorporation into the ancient government. During the Clone Wars, a fierce civil war between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the H'drachi maintained their allegiance to the Republic and received protection from the Separatist Droid Army through the efforts of the 16th Sector Army of the Grand Army of the Republic.
With the Republic's transformation into the Galactic Empire at the conclusion of the Clone Wars, the Imperial regime occupied M'haeli and subjected the H'drachi to oppression. Despite their antipathy towards the Empire, the H'drachi maintained faith in a vision of a future devoid of Imperial rule, as revealed to them by the time-stream, and patiently awaited its realization. As the Human populace of M'haeli coalesced in support of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, the H'drachi persisted in their hope that the turmoil of war would soon bypass their world. Despite gains made by the Human population, the world was once more subjugated by Grand Moff Lynch Hauser. By 127 ABY the world was under the thrall of Darth Krayt's Empire.
As a species known for their Force-sensitive abilities, the H'drachi did not represent a particularly widespread presence among the galaxy's vast population. During the Separatist Crisis that afflicted the Republic in the decade leading up to the Clone Wars, a H'drachi spiritualist and producer named Ch'been gained prominence for creating highly successful holofilms on Coruscant.
In 22 BBY, Gjon, a H'drachi individual, operated a starship repair and landing platform service under the moniker "Honest Gjon" on Bogg 4, a moon orbiting the planet Bogden, where he acquired a reputation for engaging in deceptive practices.
