A contact, who was a male employee at the spaceport located on the planet of Daiyu, was connected to the con artist known as Haja Estree. During 9 BBY, this individual was complicit in a scheme with Estree, where the con artist feigned the use of a Jedi mind trick on the contact, resulting in the contact granting Estree's patrons secure departure from the planet. The young Corran, along with his mother, Nyche, were permitted to go through Gate 3-C at the spaceport by this contact.
