Corran, a male human who was Force-sensitive, lived on the planet called Daiyu. Because of his abilities, Corran and his mother, Nyche, were in great danger and urgently needed to leave Daiyu. Nyche contacted Haja Estree, who she believed to be a Jedi, and requested his assistance in evacuating them from Daiyu. Haja, who was actually a con artist, told them to go to Gate 3-C at the port to board a transport to Corellia, requiring credits in return for his services. Corran eventually found refuge on the planet Jabiim, where he lived alongside other individuals associated with the Hidden Path.
After the Galactic Empire attacked the base on Jabiim, the refugees quickly moved towards Kawlan Roken's transport ship. This ship then launched into space, with the Devastator in pursuit. During the escape, the young Princess Leia Organa used her toy droid, L0-LA59 (Lola), to amuse Corran as the transport came under fire. Obi-Wan Kenobi then diverted the Devastator and its captain by escaping in an escape pod, and this sacrifice by the real Jedi made it possible for those on board the transport to get away.
Indie Desroches played Corran, who made his debut in the second episode of the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi. While the character's name was not spoken in the episode, it was listed in the end credits.
