Harlan
Harlan, a Force-sensitive individual of female gender, lived approximately around the time of 11 ABY. One time, an alien with the capability to manipulate the dark side of the Force assaulted her. This alien attempted to employ telekinesis on Harlan, but she defended herself by utilizing a technique referred to as Force of Will. In a separate incident, Harlan engaged in combat with a guard who lacked Force sensitivity, and she made an attempt to use Force lightning to target the guard's head.
Behind the scenes
The Jedi Academy Sourcebook features Harlan as an example for demonstrating the utilization of two Force powers within the mechanics of dice rolls. Certain enthusiasts hypothesized that Harlan could potentially exist as a character within the Star Wars universe, possibly a member of the New Jedi Order as portrayed in this roleplaying sourcebook by West End Games. In response to inquiries regarding this concept on the StarWars.com Message Boards, Leland Chee clarified, "I don't believe she was intended to be an actual in-universe character."
