The Hassk triplets, a band of roving ruffians under the command of Varmik, were common sights at Takodana Castle. These triplets were almost feral subhumanoid creatures belonging to the Hassk species. They were always looking for a fight, though the larger peacekeepers at Maz Kanata's castle were able to control them. Each of the three carried some sort of weapon, with one wielding a worn-out VT-33d blaster pistol. One of the two taller triplets suffered from a foul-smelling skin disease, a result of sleeping in piles of dung.
Varmik's initial appearance was within Takodana Castle in the film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. His two siblings are briefly visible outside the castle as the First Order launched their assault.
