Helical HyperCom, or HH, was a well-known manufacturer specializing in personal communication devices. As the Galactic Republic neared its end, during its last years, Orson Krennic orchestrated Galen Erso's placement on an HH research team located on the planet of Lokori. At the time Erso was brought on board, the company was actively developing a crystal array designed to enhance communication relays among various planets and systems impacted by the ongoing Clone Wars. While employed at Helical Hypercom, Erso's responsibilities included managing the quality assurance processes for the organization.
