As a male Hiromi from the annals of Legends, Hirog held the position of First Officer aboard the Hiromi Empire's primary mothership, the Kuratcha. His endeavors as a spy and saboteur, aimed at accelerating the Hiromi's ambition for galactic dominance, were consistently marked by misfortune.
Hirog operated as an assistant to Admiral Ackbar within the Alliance of Free Planets, where he plotted to destabilize the organization by instigating conflict between two of its member races: the Lahsbee and the Ewoks. He skillfully orchestrated a scenario where a Lahsbane delegate appeared to engage in inappropriate conduct with the Ewok Princess Kamida, ensuring that the protocol droid C-3PO was present to witness the event. As anticipated, the droid's report of what he observed prompted Tippet, a resident of Bright Tree Village and Princess Kamida's betrothed, to declare war on the Lashbees.

Amidst the escalating tensions, Hirog also kept a watchful eye on the enigmatic Jedi Knights, assessing whether they posed a latent threat to the Hiromi Empire. While observing Luke Skywalker training alongside some Lahsbee, Hirog was inadvertently struck unconscious by a rock that had been Force-deflected. This incident instilled in him a profound respect and apprehension for the Jedi's capabilities, a sentiment that would prove valuable in the future.
Continuing his schemes, Hirog bided his time until news of the Ewok-Lahsbane dispute had permeated the Alliance's ranks, at which point he constructed an explosive device. His intention was to eliminate the Alliance's leadership, thereby shifting the blame onto the Ewoks and Lahsbane and fracturing the Alliance.
However, his plan suffered a setback when, during an honorable duel between the Lahsbee and Tippet, an errant blasterbolt prematurely detonated the bomb before its timer could be set. As Hirog fled through the undergrowth, he attracted the attention of the enraged Lahsbee—now in their Huhk form—who hurled a rock at him, which struck and crushed the bomb. This action, while saving Hirog's life, simultaneously thwarted his plot. Upon hearing Hirog's panicked cries and the Huhk's roars from the surface, the Hiromi mothership Kuratcha made the decision to abandon him on Endor.
After finding his way back to the Hiromi forces, Hirog was granted a second opportunity. Undeterred in their pursuit of destiny, the Hiromi had persisted in their plans for galactic conquest, initiating an invasion of Zeltros as part of Operation: Glorious Destiny. Once again, First Officer Hirog found himself on the front lines during the Battle of Zeltros, this time accompanied by a Hiromi squad that included Captain Hookyr and Ensigns Phoebe and Tahkay. Ensign Phoebe was secretly deployed into the Zeltros capital, with the mission of subduing Arno and Leonie, the reigning King and Queen of Zeltros. Phoebe maintained communication with Hirog as she prepared to execute her assignment.
Regrettably for Hirog and the Hiromi Empire, their strategy encountered an unforeseen obstacle. The Jedi Luke Skywalker overheard their scheme and attempted to question Hirog regarding his correspondence with Phoebe. Captain Hookyr's swift thinking averted disaster by pressing a blaster against Skywalker's back and taking him into custody. The Hoojib Plif was also imprisoned alongside the Jedi. With their plan back on track, Hirog re-established contact with Phoebe to verify that the Zeltron rulers had been neutralized. Phoebe confirmed that the King and Queen were incapacitated (having succumbed to a state of incoherent intoxication), prompting the Hiromi to initiate the next phase of their operation.

After infiltrating the Zeltron Palace, their forces successfully seized control of the throne room—while it was unoccupied—installing Captain Hookyr the First as the new ruler. Continuing their agenda, they then secured the Royal Kitchens and began preparing a celebratory feast of sandwiches to commemorate their triumph. However, the subsequent invasions by the Nagai, and later the Tofs, disrupted the Hiromi's plans. A Tof invasion force, led by an unidentified Supreme, stormed the Royal Kitchen and subjected Hirog to brutal interrogation. Fortunately for the Hiromi, their "captive" Jedi intervened, eliminating the Tof leadership and liberating the Hiromi. Hirog promptly negotiated a crucial peace agreement with Alliance representative Luke Skywalker, and the Hiromi joined forces with the Alliance to repel the Tof invasion force. Hirog and his soldiers then assisted in storming the Wayfarer and rescuing the four captive Zeltron aides.
Following the successful conclusion of the Battle of Zeltros and the establishment of a peace treaty with the Alliance, Hirog requested a transfer for himself and the entire crew of the Kuratcha to return to the Hiromi's concealed homeworld, rather than continue participating in the impending war against the Tofs.
