Hysalrians constituted a sapient race linked to the Hysalria star system. It was believed that N'Kata Del Gormo, who was allegedly an initial educator to the future Grand Master Yoda, belonged to the Hysalrian species. During 32 BBY, Jedi Master Mace Windu noticed a sand structure within Yoda's living space that resembled Hysalria, which made him recall the story of a Hysalrian tutoring Yoda; however, the Grand Master disregarded the sculpture, employing the Force to reshape it into an Alderaanian rose.
