Icindric caviar
Icindric caviar referred to a specific variety of caviar. This particular type was first produced on the Outer Rim Territories planet known as Icindra.
Behind the scenes
The existence of Icindric caviar was first established within Jason Fry's adult novelization published in 2018. This novel was based on the sequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, which premiered in 2017. Within the novel, the character "DJ," a slicer and con artist, is depicted bypassing security protocols on a data console located on the Libertine, a stolen yacht. While engaged in conversation with Finn, a member of the Resistance, DJ retrieves a shiny, small tin containing Icindric caviar from his attire and presents it to Finn. Finn, unfamiliar with this food item, refuses the offer. The corresponding scene within the film itself makes no reference to Icindric caviar.
