The male progenitors of the Iggs youngling boy lived throughout the time known as the Imperial Era. In the year 4 ABY, the mother and father passed away together, with Iggs discovering their lifeless forms. Following this tragedy, the child became a member of the Anklebiter Brigade—a collection of rebellious children—located in CoCo Town on the Core Worlds world of Coruscant, where they aided the Rebel Alliance in their fight against the Galactic Empire by offering intelligence.
In the year 4 ABY, Iggs, along with other members of the child rebel group, was brought to Naboo, a Mid Rim planet, to be taken in by new families. During an interview with a female regarding the fate of his parents, Iggs involuntarily remembered the passing of his male parents, despite his attempts to suppress the memory. Subsequently, the young boy escaped Naboo and went back to the Anklebiters Brigade on Coruscant.
The male parents were referenced within Aftermath, a 2015 book penned by Chuck Wendig that served as the initial entry in the Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy. Wendig passionately supported his incorporation of LGBTQIA+ individuals within Aftermath after the book's publication, arguing that the fathers' parental roles rendered them distinct and engaging characters.
