The ILC-905 system existed within the Koornacht Cluster, situated on the boundary between the Core Worlds and the Deep Core. A solitary star was at its heart, circled by a dozen planets. An asteroid belt acted as a divider, setting apart the furthest rocky planet from the closest gas giant.
Following its seizure by Yevethans in revolt against the Empire, a Type II Orbital Repair Yard, previously under the command of the Imperial Navy's Black Sword Command, was relocated to Prildaz, a gas giant world within this system, during 4 ABY.
Roughly twelve years later, during the Battle of ILC-905, the shipyard and the thrustships defending it were obliterated by a squadron commanded by Commodore Brand on the cruiser Indomitable. This destruction was a consequence of the genocidal Yevethan Purge.
