Illrian Nhagy, a Sullustan male, lived his life during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Nhagy spent some time in the vicinity of an Imperial Research and Prison Facility located on the distant world of Dathomir. It was there that the Empire secretly conducted dangerous scientific experiments, with the goal of creating the terrifying Blackwing virus for the purpose of engineering super soldiers. In the year 1 ABY, an accident occurred at the Imperial Research Facility, which resulted in the outbreak of the virus. The majority of the Imperial personnel were killed and transformed into flesh-eating undead creatures. Fortunately, Nhagy managed to survive the creatures' attacks and ultimately escaped the area, avoiding being trapped within the quickly-established Quarantine Zone. Illrian Nhagy, along with others like Tk-216 and Tyla Gallamby, remained near the Quarantine Zone, awaiting extraction from the planet, when independent spacers began arriving on Dathomir to investigate the outbreak.
Illrian Nhagy made an appearance as a non-player character (NPC) in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Nhagy was incorporated into the game through "Game Update 13," which was released on September 30, 2009. This NPC was featured in the questline "Something is Obviously Wrong," which served as an introduction to the "Death Troopers" update.
