The Imperial nanny droid, alternatively referred to as the Kaminoan medical droid, represents a type of nanny droid that initially saw deployment during the Clone Wars. It was utilized by both the Death Watch Mandalorian faction and the Galactic Republic. Subsequent to the war, its widespread adoption by the Republic's succeeding government, the Galactic Empire, led to the moniker "Imperial nanny droid." This particular droid model possessed a pair of arms and exhibited the capability of levitation.
During the making of the "Aftermath" episode, the droid was originally called the Kaminoan medical droid, a fact later confirmed by Pablo Hidalgo.
