The Sith Empire operated a minor base, which functioned as a holding location for prisoners captured during the Great Galactic War against the Galactic Republic. At some point between 3665 BBY and 3653 BBY, the year the war concluded, a Republic Military team, led by Sergeant Fideltin Rusk, assaulted the base to free the incarcerated individuals. Their strategy was informed by intelligence suggesting that reinforcements would not arrive for another day. Unexpectedly, reinforcements materialized sooner than anticipated, tilting the battle in favor of the base's defenders. Regardless of the numerical disadvantage, the team managed to liberate the prisoners and evacuate the facility without suffering any deaths. The Jedi Knight referred to as the Hero of Tython later heard Rusk recount the events of this mission, including the outpost.
In Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game developed by BioWare and published by LucasArts in 2011, the Imperial base is referenced in the "Bad Intel" conversation with Sergeant Rusk, a companion for the Jedi Knight class. The dialogue does not reveal the specific geographical coordinates of the base.
