The Surgeons were a covert black ops team within the Republic Special Forces during the Great Galactic War, fighting against the Sith Empire. Initially, they were a Republic Army squad led by the recently promoted Sergeant Fideltin Rusk. Following their initial operation, General Elin Garza recruited the other members of the team to join the Special Forces' black ops division. Ultimately, they faced conviction for war crimes due to their targeting of enemy leaders' families, resulting in their imprisonment on Berrun.
