"In the Empire" is a piece of Imperial propaganda music. Candace sang the lead vocals, supported by Baljeet and Buford who provided backing vocals. They performed this propaganda song in the open desert of Tatooine, a planet, in 0 BBY. They were on a walk to recall the orientation they had received from the Empire.

The song "In the Empire" was featured in Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars. This special was a non-canon crossover that first aired on July 26, 2014. It was a brand new song written specifically for this crossover event. The songwriting and musical composition are credited to Wayne Brady, Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, Martin Olson, and Dan Povenmire.
