A guide of Human descent shepherded Doctor Indiana Jones, accompanied by Short Round, through a dense jungle environment. This occurred on the planet Earth at some point between the years of 1942 and 1943. Their mission was to discover the whereabouts of the mythical "Sasquatch," who in actuality was the marooned Wookiee known as Chewbacca. This guide was able to recognize the Wookiee's distinctive footprints, and expressed surprise when they realized Chewbacca's dwelling was not a cave, but instead the YT-1300 light freighter named the Millennium Falcon.

Between the years of 1942 and 1943, a Human guide on the planet Earth spearheaded an expedition into a jungle, leading Doctor Indiana Jones alongside his companion Short Round. Jones had been enlisted by a museum to look into reported sightings of a legendary "Sasquatch," which was revealed to be the Wookiee Chewbacca, who had crash-landed on the planet 126 years prior in the YT-1300 light freighter Millennium Falcon and had remained isolated ever since.
While in the jungle, the guide steered the group toward a ridge where Chewbacca had been sighted in the thirty years prior. The guide was able to identify one of the Wookiee's footprints and informed Jones that they were getting closer to Chewbacca's home, which pleased the doctor. The guide wondered if Chewbacca lived in a nearby cave, until they stumbled upon the wreckage of the Millennium Falcon and realized it was not a cave. Jones and Short Round climbed into the starship, where they discovered the corpse of its pilot, Han Solo, causing Jones to call off the expedition.
Indiana Jones's guide appeared in the non-canon comic "Into the Great Unknown," penned by W. Haden Blackman, with illustrations by Sean Gordon Murphy. It was published in the nineteenth issue of Star Wars Tales, released by Dark Horse Comics on May 14, 2004. The comic is a crossover between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, both portrayed by Harrison Ford in the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises. The guide's final line in the comic, "This is no cave," mirrors a line spoken by Han Solo in the Hoth asteroid field in the 1980 film Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.
