An Individual atmospheric intrusion pod served as a vehicle for planetary atmospheric entry. During 27 ABY, personnel from both Wraith Squadron and the Jedi Order utilized these pods to infiltrate Coruscant without being detected during their mission. As they descended, the pods ignited, resembling falling meteors. Kell Tainer remarked that they were 'pretty new'. Despite their function, the pods were not hermetically sealed, necessitating the use of vac suits by the occupants. These pods were constructed using devices installed within modified, hollowed-out Coralskippers. At the base, the devices featured an ablative heat shield, while a basic repulsor unit, along with a power cell, was situated near the top to ensure the pods maintained the correct orientation during their descent towards the planet.
