Intrepid functioned as an Imperial vessel within the Fel Empire. Before the events of the [Sith–Imperial War](/article/sith%e2%80%93imperial_war], this vessel embarked on a voyage to the uncharted territories of the Unknown Regions. During this assignment, the Sluissi engineer, Chief Bor Alsek, and the Imperial Knight Treis Sinde were part of the Intrepid's crew. Their paths would not cross once more until the time of the Second Imperial Civil War.
