Bor Alsek, a member of the Sluissi species, was a part of the military force of the Galactic Empire under Darth Krayt. During the Skirmish on Dac, he found himself stationed on the Acklay Battle Fortress, known as the Sea Lion, fulfilling the role of Chief Mechanic. As the Mon Calamari Rangers launched an assault, the docking bay where Alsek was performing his duties came under attack from Imperial Knight Treis Sinde. Sinde, collaborating with the Rangers, obliterated the docking bay, causing a hull breach and subsequent flooding. Armed with his blaster rifle, Alsek confronted Sinde, but the Imperial Knight proved superior, redirecting Alsek's blaster fire back into his own body, resulting in his death.
Bor Alsek, as a Sluissi, was employed as a mechanic within the Fel Empire. During the reign of Emperor Roan Fel, Alsek received an assignment aboard the Intrepid, an Imperial starship bound for the Unknown Regions. On a particular mission headed by Imperial Knight Treis Sinde, Alsek and Sinde crossed paths, leaving the Imperial Knight with a recollection of the mechanic's identity for years to come.
With the conclusion of the Sith–Imperial War, Darth Krayt, the Dark Lord of the Sith, executed a coup, deposing Fel from power. Krayt took the throne for himself, a transition supported by the Council of Moffs. As the new Empire took shape, those loyal to the Fel Empire went into exile, Treis Sinde among them. Bor Alsek, still a mechanic at this juncture, adhered to the orders originating from the Moffs acknowledging the new Emperor, and continued his service as a Chief Mechanic within Krayt's newly established Empire.

By 137 ABY, seven years following the coup against the former Emperor Fel, Alsek had been deployed to the planet Dac, a water-dominated world populated by the Mon Calamari. In response to the Mon Calamari's support for the Galactic Alliance Remnant during the Battle of Dac, Emperor Darth Krayt issued a decree for the extermination of all Mon Calamari on the planet. As the Mon Calamari population sought refuge in the ocean depths of Dac, Imperial forces were dispatched to capture and eliminate those who had escaped. Alsek's assigned vessel, the Acklay Battle Fortress named Sea Lion, participated in the effort to locate and destroy Mon Calamari refugees.
The Sea Lion eventually encountered and engaged a small Mon Calamari settlement. However, the vessel faced a counterattack from Mon Calamari Rangers commanded by Treis Sinde. Sinde successfully breached the Sea Lion in the area where Alsek was working, and the Imperial Knight commenced an assault on the Imperials within the docking bay. During the ensuing firefight in the docking bay, blaster fire struck several fuel tanks, triggering a powerful explosion that swept through the decks. Sinde managed to shield himself using the Force, but the other Imperials were consumed by the blast. Bor Alsek sustained severe injuries from the explosion but managed to retrieve a blaster rifle, preparing to engage the Imperial Knight.

Before initiating his attack, Alsek questioned his former commanding officer. The Sluissi inquired why Sinde, a former Imperial, was attacking his fellow Imperials. Sinde clarified that he opposed all who served the usurper, Darth Krayt. Nevertheless, Alsek remained committed to his current superiors and attempted to apprehend Sinde. Sinde refused to surrender and requested that the Sluissi step aside, expressing his reluctance to harm Alsek. The Sluissi mechanic retorted that Sinde had already effectively killed him. When Alsek discharged his blaster at Sinde, the Imperial Knight effortlessly redirected the blaster bolt back into the Sluissi's chest, resulting in his death.
Subsequently, Sinde rejoined the Mon Calamari Rangers, and the damaged Sea Lion retreated. Sinde felt remorse for killing Alsek, stating that he had killed him for the "crimes" of obedience and loyalty. Tanquar, a Mon Calamari, disagreed, arguing that Alsek was an enemy who contributed to the genocide by maintaining the machinery used to perpetrate it.
Bor Alsek demonstrated a deep sense of loyalty and dedication to the Empire, considering it his duty to unquestioningly follow the directives of his superiors. This conviction drove him to confront Treis Sinde, a former acquaintance and commander. Alsek's unwavering belief led to his demise when he sided with his immediate superiors and his training by attacking Sinde. Despite his familiarity with a blaster rifle, he was no match for the skills of an Imperial Knight, and he was swiftly killed when the blaster bolt was deflected back into his chest.
Bor Alsek made his debut in the thirty-second issue of Star Wars: Legacy, the inaugural installment of the Fight Another Day story arc, authored by John Ostrander and illustrated by Omar Francia.
