Skirmish on Dac

The Skirmish on Dac, which occurred in 137 ABY, represented a continuation of the genocide that Emperor Darth Krayt initiated. This genocide was ordered as punishment against the Mon Calamari for their collaboration with the Galactic Alliance Remnant. Within the waters of Dac, their homeworld, a group of Mon Calamari refugees was caught in an ambush set by Krayt's Shark Squadron. These subfighters were deployed from the underwater battle station, known as Sea Lion. The Sharks began a massacre, killing every Mon Calamari in sight, operating under the assumption that the natives possessed no means of defense. However, their expectations were shattered when a squad of Mon Calamari Rangers, under the command of Tanquar, a Mon Cal, arrived to aid their people. A battle immediately broke out, and commander Sturves of the Sea Lion dispatched a squad of Aquatic assault stormtroopers into the depths with orders to eliminate the refugees. Before the troopers could initiate their assault on the Mon Calamari, they found themselves under a surprise attack by Imperial Master Treis Sinde, who swiftly defeated them.

Subsequently, Sinde infiltrated the Sea Lion and engaged the remaining crew in combat. He successfully triggered an explosion within the station, resulting in critical damage and leaving many crewmembers dead or injured. Sinde was then confronted by chief Bor Alsek, with whom Sinde had a history of service. Following a short exchange, Sinde was compelled to kill Alsek in an act of self-defense. The Imperial Master then evacuated the station, which was rapidly flooding. Having suffered defeat, the Sea Lion and its remaining Sharks retreated from the area, allowing the Mon Cal Rangers to celebrate their triumph. However, Master Sinde expressed dissatisfaction with the Rangers' performance, reminding them of the true purpose of their fight: the survival of the Mon Calamari species.
