Shark Squadron, a component of the Imperial Army, consisted of Shark subfighters. Dedicated to Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, they were involved in the events of the Genocide on Dac.
After Emperor Darth Krayt issued his order for the annihilation of the Mon Calamari, the Acklay Battle Fortress, named Sea Lion, which housed Shark Squadron, chased Mon Calamari refugees along the seabed of Dac. Upon locating a refugee encampment, Shark Squadron was sent to eliminate the settlement. However, right as the assault commenced, Shark Squadron found themselves under attack by the Mon Calamari Rangers piloting their Krakana subfighters. The unit started suffering losses, and despite the efforts of the Sea Lion's commanding officer, Commander [Sturves], to support the Sharks, the squadron was gradually forced away from the Mon Calamari civilians.
Ultimately, Imperial Knight Treis Sinde, an ally of the Rangers, inflicted damage upon the Sea Lion, leading Commander Sturves to call off the attack. Shark Squadron was ordered back to provide cover for the withdrawal, and the Imperials departed from the combat area.
