Invasion of Sriluur
In the year 26 ABY, during the time of the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Yuuzhan Vong forces launched an invasion of the planet known as Sriluur.
Prelude
The Yuuzhan Vong War brought with it the appearance of Yuuzhan Vong coralskippers close to Sriluur, as documented in the skirmish near the planet, situated within the Outer Rim's Si'Klaata Cluster. This prompted a massive wave of departures as inhabitants feared the impending invasion. However, numerous Weequay clans resolved to remain and organized militias to defend their home. The Peace Brigade, loyal to the Yuuzhan Vong, infiltrated Sriluur, where they terrorized the population and attempted to dismantle technology, paving the way for the Yuuzhan Vong's arrival.
The invasion
As the Yuuzhan Vong invasion commenced, a group of spacers encountered Falloon, an operative of the Black Sun, while trying to evacuate. They decided to assist Falloon and his droid, 9T-LOM, in reaching Falloon's ship so they could all flee the planet. They engaged Peace Brigade soldiers and Chazrach in combat within the streets of Meirm City, only to discover that the spaceport had already been seized by Yuuzhan Vong warriors. Following a lightfight, they boarded Falloon's yacht, named the Gilded Thranta. As they ascended through the upper atmosphere, coralskippers ambushed the ship. Fortunately, the Gilded Thranta had been outfitted with powerful weaponry, enabling it to withstand the fighter's onslaught until it jumped into hyperspace.
Elsewhere on Sriluur, the limited resistance offered by the native population was quickly overwhelmed. The planet fell under complete control within days, and its people were forced into servitude by the occupying forces. Many transports carrying fleeing civilians were destroyed in orbit.
Aftermath
Following the capture of Sriluur and the Si'Klaata Cluster, the Yuuzhan Vong initiated their campaign against Hutt Space, beginning with an attack on the Cyborrea system.
Despite the terraforming of their homeworld by the invaders, the Weequay demonstrated resilience and continued their existence on Sriluur even after the war's conclusion.
Falloon and the spacers departed Sriluur, heading towards Coruscant. He eventually revealed to them that he held the position of chief accountant for the Black Sun in that sector, and his droid contained financial records of the criminal organization spanning centuries.
