Isu-Sim was the manufacturing company responsible for creating the SSP05 hyperdrive. Approximately three decades following the Battle of Endor, the Millennium Falcon, a revamped YT-1300 light freighter, utilized an Isu-Sim SSP05 class 0.5 hyperdrive.
The initial reference to Isu-Sim appeared in the Star Wars Legends sourcebook, Star Wars: Complete Cross-Sections, authored by David West Reynolds and Curtis Saxton and published in 2007. Their status as canon was later solidified through a mention in Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Incredible Cross-Sections, penned by Jason Fry and launched in 2015.
