Iyon, sometimes referred to as Mr. Iyon, held the esteemed position of Chamberlain for the Codru-Ji species. This took place on their isolated Outer Rim planet, Munto Codru, specifically in the year 14 ABY.
In 14 ABY, during a tour of remote member worlds, Leia Organa Solo, the Chief of State of the New Republic, visited Munto Codru. While there, her children, namely Jaina, Jacen, and Anakin, were abducted. The culprits were agents working for Hethrir, the head of the Empire Reborn. Iyon's own wyrwulf—a Codru-Ji child—was also taken.
Iyon, with no knowledge of Hethrir's scheme, attempted to reassure a distraught Leia. He characterized the kidnapping as a "coup abduction," which he described as ritualistic kidnappings of the offspring of prominent Codru-Ji families by their political adversaries. These abductions, he claimed, typically concluded with ransom payments and the children's safe return. Leia, unconvinced by this explanation, departed on her starship, the Alderaan, to locate her children. In doing so, she temporarily abandoned her responsibilities as the New Republic's leader and went missing.
Following her victory over Hethrir at Crseih Station and the successful rescue of her children, along with other children kidnapped by Hethrir (including Iyon's wyrwulf, which was in the process of transforming into a self-aware Codru-Ji child), Leia and her companions transported the space city to Munto Codru. There, local authorities, along with the New Republic Intelligence, detained the station's inhabitants to investigate their involvement in the slave trade. The enslaved individuals held there were liberated and sent back to their homes. After Iyon voiced his concerns about the station to sector authorities, Crseih was relocated to orbit Pakuuni, a nearby planet, where it remained.
