Jason W.A. Tucker held the position of Supervising Editor for both the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the motion picture released in theaters beforehand. Currently, Tucker remains employed at Lucasfilm Animation.
Having obtained a B.F.A in Mass Communication/Film from Emerson College in 1990, Tucker began his career as an Apprentice Editor at Universal Pictures. He progressed to Trailer Editor, focusing primarily on editing International Trailers and TV Spots. Subsequently, he transitioned to one-hour dramas, serving as an Assistant Editor on productions such as Sleepwalkers, Buddy Faro, Party of Five, and MYOB. Eventually, he secured feature film work as the First Assistant Editor on the Warner Bros. movie Cats & Dogs, in addition to the Polish Brothers' film, Northfork.
His initial role as an Animation Editor was on Joe Dante's Looney Tunes: Back In Action, where he collaborated closely with the Animation Director, Eric Goldberg. Following this, he continued to edit various projects with Warner Animation and Disney Studios, while also periodically working as an Assistant Editor on series like Boston Public, CSI: Miami, and as a VFX Assistant Editor on the animated film Monster House.
