The Hydroid Medusa existed as a certain classification of jellyfish.
Jellyfish are characterized as soft-bodied marine invertebrates. They possess a gelatinous, umbrella-shaped bell along with long, trailing tentacles. The cyborg Hydroid Medusae represent a known species of jellyfish. They were engineered by the Karkarodons originating from the aquatic planet named Karkaris. During the Clone Wars, Hydroid Medusae saw widespread deployment during the Battle of Mon Cala. A jellyfish-resembling species inhabited the atmosphere of the planet known as Cantonica.
