Jennifer Heddle

Jennifer Heddle holds the position of Executive Editor at LucasBooks, which itself is a part of Lucas Licensing. Within this role, she is responsible for overseeing the fiction publishing program of the company. This involves collaborating with licensees such as Random House and Dark Horse Comics, in addition to authors and illustrators, to create various Star Wars literary works, including novels, reference materials, comics, and other forms of literature.

Heddle's appointment, which was publicly announced on October 26, 2011, marked her succession of Sue Rostoni, who had served as the Executive Editor at LucasBooks for a significant period. Prior to joining LucasBooks, she was employed at Simon & Schuster, specifically within their Pocket Books imprint.

Beyond her responsibilities as an editor, Heddle has also contributed creatively by writing a short story titled "Constant Spirit" for Star Wars Insider. This story is connected to the narrative of the novel Razor's Edge. Moreover, Heddle is the author of the World of Reading book A Leader Named Leia.
