Jenssar SoBilles, a Duros male, initially fought as a resistance fighter and later served as a Councilor within the New Republic Provisional Council.
SoBilles spearheaded the Duros resistance opposing the Empire's rule. During a clandestine meeting with rebel leaders hailing from Sullust, Corellia, and Alderaan at Cloud City, he voiced his concerns. He feared that imperial reprisal, should resistance factions unite, would disproportionately target non-Human species, including his own, the Duros. Consequently, even with Bria Tharen from Corellia fervently arguing that disunity courted failure, SoBilles and the other leaders chose not to consolidate their efforts at that time. Nevertheless, Mon Mothma later swayed them, leading to a unification of various resistance cells across the galaxy against the Galactic Empire. Subsequently, he gained a seat on the New Republic Provisional Council, endorsing both the Declaration of a New Republic and the document titled Why Do We Fight the Empire?.
