Jeridel, a resident of Corellia, lived during the tumultuous era of the Galactic Civil War. She and her brother, Jenson, were employed at a clandestine illegal lab on Corellia. This lab specialized in the perilous field of bio-engineering, creating creatures through hazardous genetic experimentation. In the year 1 ABY, Jenson received a promotion to the position of lead creature handler. Regrettably, after a period of three days, Jenson did not return. A spacer, in the service of Lieutenant Joth from the Corellian Security Force, came to investigate the laboratory. At this time, Jeridel engaged the spacer to conduct a search of Jenson's workplace, hoping to uncover the circumstances of his disappearance. Subsequently, the spacer came back and told Jeridel that her brother had met his demise at the hands of the facility's acklay. Jeridel then compensated the spacer with 2,500 credits for the discovery of this information.
Jeridel's existence began as a non-player character featured in the 2003 video game known as Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts until it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Jeridel became a part of the game following the launch of "Publish 28," which occurred on April 26, 2006.
Following each server reset, Jeridel's species and gender were determined randomly. The species that Jeridel could appear as included, but were not limited to, Aqualish, Humans, Mon Calamari, and Twi'leks.
