Jmmaar
Jmmaar, hailing from the planet Vvaw, was a Jedi Master with ten legs and a crablike appearance. Serving within the Jedi Order, protectors of the Galactic Republic, Jmmaar met his end when he was slain by Separatist General Grievous. Before Grievous's own demise during the Battle of Utapau in 19 BBY, the General claimed the Jedi's green-bladed weapon to add to his collection of lightsabers.
Behind the scenes
Jmmaar's initial mention in Star Wars canon occurred within the 2018 reference book titled Star Wars: Complete Vehicles. The character's description was a reprint from Curtis Saxton's 2005 reference book, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections. These appearances, occurring at the same time as Matthew Stover's novelization of the film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, marked the character's initial introduction into the Star Wars Legends continuity.
