Jorm Whistler Mackenni, who also went by the battle moniker Twister, functioned as a stormtrooper within the ranks of the Empire of the Hand, quite some time following the Battle of Endor.
Although his origins are somewhat ambiguous, Whistler was a Human; it remains unclear if he originated as a colonist from a planet located in the Unknown Regions, or if he was possibly a clone. By the time of Kariek's liberation, he had served as a stormtrooper for six years in Aurek Company of the 501st Legion, dedicating the last two years to leading the four-member team known as Unit Aurek-Seven.
During their efforts to penetrate the defenses of the Warlord's stronghold, Whistler and Aurek-Seven crossed paths with a faction of indigenous Eickarie freedom fighters, including the warrior Su-mil. Once Su-mil demonstrated his critical role in ensuring the capture of the fortress and the Warlord's downfall, Whistler extended an invitation for him to enlist in the Imperial forces. Shortly after Whistler's departure from the military, the Eickarie warrior took his place as the leader of Aurek-Seven.
