Upon Emon and Aeron Azzameen's realization of a Viraxo informant within their ranks, Aeron opted to scrutinize the communication records stored in the datacore. Ace Azzameen, an operative for the Rebel Alliance, piloted the Otana to the junkyard with the intention of finding the datacore, with Emon offering backup in the Andrasta.
After discovering the cargo container containing the datacore, MK-09, the Azzameen family droid, disembarked from the Otana and boarded the container to recover it. While MK-09 was in the process of obtaining the core, scavengers in T-wing interceptors appeared and initiated an assault on the Azzameens.
Nevertheless, the Otana and Andrasta successfully neutralized the danger. Ace extracted MK-09 along with the datacore, subsequently returning to the Liberty aboard the Otana.
