Kachirho, the planet's capital, was a Wookiee settlement situated on the coast within the Wawaatt Archipelago of Kashyyyk. This settlement consisted of multiple populated wroshyr trees, notably Tree Kachirho and Tree Vikkilynn. The city featured a freshwater lagoon, from which two piers and docks projected outward. Tarfful, the chieftain, governed the city during the period of the Clone Wars. The Battle of Kashyyyk occurred at Kachirho as the Clone Wars drew to a close.
