The second son of Vox Chun, a powerful and politically shrewd figure on Telos IV, was Kad Chun, who would later be known as Uni. Because his father was heavily influenced by Xanatos, the renegade Jedi, Kad's early life was marked by an atmosphere of deceit and suspicion.
Bruck Chun, Kad Chun's elder brother, was taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant for Jedi training at a very young age, perhaps even before Kad's birth. After his older brother, whom he idolized, died, he placed the blame on the young Obi-Wan Kenobi and refused to believe any negative information about his deceased brother. He appeared to harbor animosity towards Obi-Wan for Bruck's passing, nearly succumbing to his rage and causing him harm.
Twelve years following the incidents surrounding his brother's demise, Kad reappeared as Uni. He had become the leader of a group of disillusioned idealists and "refugees," each escaping the decline of their respective planets. His father, Vox, now an elderly man, had also joined this group, and both men continued to hold resentment towards Obi-Wan. This lasted until Vox's self-serving scheme was exposed and ultimately led to his own death. Kad then found it within himself to forgive both his manipulative father and Obi-Wan. Following these events, he departed to pursue, it is assumed, more ambitious objectives than simply leading his followers in their flight from their homes.
