Vox Chun was the progenitor of both Bruck Chun and Kad Chun. In addition, he held the position of treasurer on Telos IV during the reign of Xanatos.
Chun was manipulated into exploiting Telos's popular gambling game, Katharsis, as a means of providing financial support to UniFy and, ultimately, Offworld Mining Corporation. After the Jedi duo of Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi revealed the scheme, assisted by Den and Andra (who were Telosians), Vox Chun was incarcerated.
Subsequently, he pursued justice for the death of his elder son through a Senate hearing, attempting to place the blame for Bruck's demise on the young Obi-Wan. This endeavor proved unsuccessful, as Xanatos had implanted a recording device within Bruck's lightsaber. The senate then played the recording of the duel between Obi-Wan and Bruck. This left Vox embittered and seeking retribution.
Twelve years later, he crossed paths with Obi-Wan once more, now a mature man and Jedi Knight, while residing on his surviving son's colony vessel, which was populated by disillusioned idealists. He was secretly negotiating with the Offworld Corporation, without Kad's knowledge, to pilfer the ship's funds, aided by an operative and spy known only as 'no name'. His machinations failed when he and his accomplice (a senate no-name named Tarrence Chenati) realized they would not escape unscathed, and the no name inflicted a fatal wound upon him with his blaster. Vox Chun passed away in his son's embrace, but only after requesting and obtaining Kad's absolution for his lifetime of self-serving schemes.
