The sender was Wraith Squadron's Turman Durra, who was posing as the deceased Ton Phanan. Durra instructed her to travel to the planet and investigate the events unfolding on Kuratooine. Acting swiftly, Sorrel complied and encountered General Thaal. Soon after, Thaal's wife, Zehrinne, identified him as someone else entirely - Thadley Biolan. This was, in fact, the general's new identity following a genetic alteration made for his planned retirement. Consequently, Sorrel arrested him.
