Kagen Brendel was a Human individual of male gender who fought for the Galactic Republic throughout the period known as the Jedi Civil War.
Brendel held the Lieutenant rank while functioning as a soldier for the Republic. In the year 3957 BBY, Brendel was included within a group of Republic operatives dispatched on a mission to the planet of Sernpidal. Their objective was to retrieve a code cylinder containing the necessary command sequences for the sensor arrays located on Darth Revan's flagship. Following this, they journeyed to the Republic vessel named Viscount and provided support to the Jedi Bastila Shan during an operation intended to capture the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Revan. It was during this undertaking that Brendel and his fellow agents came face to face with Darth Voren, the Sith apprentice.
