Kaiya Adrimetrum was a Human female who fought for the resistance. As a commander within the Rebel forces, she later joined Page's Commandos. Eventually, she took command of the New Republic CR90 corvette known as the FarStar.
Born on Siluria III, Adrimetrum was a married woman with at least two daughters. The family resided in a large home called Dovecote, located on the outskirts of Koved City. Her life took a tragic turn when Imperial forces invaded her planet, resulting in the death of her husband at the hands of the occupying troops. In response, she organized her friends and family into a resistance cell and launched a successful attack on the mansion of Imperial Governor Quannith. Following this victory, Rebel Alliance operative Corwin Shelvay convinced Adrimetrum to leave Siluria III, bringing the fight to the Empire in order to protect her loved ones.
After completing an eight-week officer training program, Adrimetrum became a Rebel unit commander. She served in various units and developed a friendship with the Wookiee Lofryyhn. Sometime during the early years of the New Republic, Adrimetrum's distinguished service led to her assignment to Page's Commandos, under the command of Lieutenant Judder Page. Before the liberation of Kal'Shebbol, she discovered that Lofryyhn had been sold into slavery to Moff Kentor Sarne. Motivated by this, she volunteered for the advance commando force. She participated in the subsequent Battle of Kal'Shebbol, where she led the team responsible for liberating prisoners from Sarne's detention facilities. Following the battle, Lieutenant Page appointed her as first officer of the FarStar mission, serving under Captain Keleman Ciro.
Adrimetrum's tenure as first officer was brief. During the Battle of Kolatill, Captain Ciro was captured by Imperial forces from the Kathol Protector. Consequently, she assumed command of the FarStar, leading the ship in the pursuit of Moff Sarne.
Adrimetrum possessed a serious nature, never joking or understanding jokes. She inspired strong loyalty among her troops and was deeply aware of her responsibilities as a commander. While she maintained a calm exterior, she was internally burdened by the weight of responsibility for the lives of those under her command. She considered herself ordinary, but understood that her subordinates could not perceive her in that way. Despite this, she forged strong bonds with members of her unit. While these bonds improved teamwork and efficiency, they also intensified the pain she felt with each loss.
In Star Wars: Rebellion, her name is sometimes spelled differently: Kaiya Andrimetrum.
